One of the few monitors in this range to support a resolution of 1280x1024, it features very stable and clear image quality due to an unusually high video bandwidth of 107 MHz. Other features include built-in degaussing, horizontal and vertical sizing and positioning, along with raster rotation. The recall function allows the user to reset the screen properties to factory defaults. The onscreen display is very intuitive, and allows control over the geometry and display features. The monitor was very stable during the horizontal and the vertical convergence tests but the raster displayed noticeable pumping in the signal on-off switching tests.
With support for a high resolution, this 15-inch monitor boasts of features that are usually absent in other monitors in its range. For applications where clear image characteristics and features are required, the DTK MDD-1537 is a very reasonable choice.
